Technology in the classroom can be a great resource for not only the students, but also for the teachers, parents, community and the school as a whole.
When used correctly, and appropriately, technology can excel a lesson.
It provides instant
access to countless
amounts of information. and allows the students to have experiences that they might not be able get with a traditional textbook lesson.

Just like everything else technology should be used in moderation. When used correctly it can amplify the learning experience, but when abused it can have negative side effects to the learners. It is important to mix computers, smart phones, tablets, etc. with traditional learning techniques to not burn out the students.
